STUDIO KARAKASHYAN | DIRECTOR & DRAMATURG

KITCHEN is an interdisciplinary performance combining contemporary dance and theatre with an alternative culinary experience. This immersive experience recreates the heated dynamic and psychological pressure in the professional kitchen before the food is served. The audience is encouraged to immerse themselves into the action and experience what goes on behind the scenes. 

The action is set in the real-life kitchen spaces of HRC Culinary Academy, the premier culinary school in Eastern Europe. The performance is designed to accommodate small groups of 6 people in order to guarantee an intimate sensory experience that follows all social distancing guidelines.
